Meet Dr. Jennifer Parker

Hello! Thank you for being here.

I am an orthopedic trained physical therapist specializing in pelvic health-  working with individuals with bowel, bladder, and sexual dysfunction, as well as guiding moms back into exercise safely postpartum. That means I talk about poop, pee, prostates and vaginas daily, as well as provide healing touch and support for individuals with pelvic pain and dysfunction.

My belief is that every person has the ability to heal on their own, but we all need some guidance from time to time. My passion is collaborating with my patients, providing a supportive space for healing and recovery.

There is a lot information out there. My intention is to be a resource for my community near and far on pelvic health and rehabilitation. My hope is to empower others to make informed choices, and to embody wellness.

When I'm not working with patients I'm...

Usually running outside! I love the outdoors, especially the sun and the beach. I have been running half marathons since 2009 and in 2016 I ran my first full marathon. I have also completed two half Ironman triathlon distance races with a goal for a full Ironman triathlon in the future. Last year, I took my feet of the pavement and fell in love with trail running through the hills of my hometown-- Livermore. I raced my first ultramarathon in the summer of 2019.

I also love to travel-- I've had the opportunity to live in Bali for month where I obtained 200-hour yoga teacher training. I have trekked along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu where I camped for 4 nights on the way there.

My husband and I met in physical therapy school, and live here in Livermore with our dog Theo!

I was born and raised right here in beautiful Livermore, California. It's an amazing opportunity to give back to my community with Embody Wellness Physical Therapy.
